Why We're Here

We believe everyone deserves to live a life free of violence.

We believe children should be safe in their communities.

We know sexual violence & domestic violence are entirely preventable, yet all too common. We believe we can help Virginians have healthier relationships.

We know all types of oppression are connected: they are based on having power over indiviudals and groups. We believe that to end sexual and domestic violence, we must also work to end racism, sexism, homophobia, and other oppressions.
