Intention-based Graphic Design

The stories we tell through graphic design show our community who we are and what we value most. Our designs are often a first impression and set the tone for the relationships we’ll cultivate and the audiences we reach. Your graphic design can tell a story that captures your mission and values with intention. Throughout this two-part series, we‘ll walk you through best practices, tools, and resources to help you do just that. You’ll even have an opportunity to put these new skills into practice.
This two-part training aims to highlight best practices in marketing and graphic design for sexual and domestic violence agencies. Day 1 (August 4) will focus on ensuring promotional materials are accessible in terms of visibility, readability, legibility, and more. Day 2 (August 11) will highlight do’s and don’t’s for how to create materials that are trauma-informed and empowering.
